New Information Regarding the 2026-2027 semester

1. Classes are held every Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., excluding statutory holidays.

2. Campus Access: For security reasons, the only unlocked entrance is located inside the fenced area to the right of the main entrance. Access is restricted to enrolled students, faculty, and authorized staff. Parents and guardians are requested to drop off and pick up their children at the entrance door.

3. Textbooks: Students are responsible for obtaining the textbooks specified by their homeroom teacher.

4. Curriculum: The curriculum is designed to be completed over the course of one academic year, consisting of the first and second terms.

Summer 2026 Course Registrations Now Closed

Date: June 13 to July 25th from 9:30 to 12:00 on Saturdays

Place: Ottawa Japanese Cultural Centre

2285 St. Laurent Blvd unit B16

Fee: 150$ (first come, first served)

Registration will be open from May 4th to May 18th.

Councillor Stéphanie Plante Visits the Ottawa Japanese Language School

We are deeply grateful to have been able to welcome Councillor Stéphanie Plante Ward 12 Rideau Vanier, to our school. Her visit gave us a wonderful opportunity to showcase the cultural enrichment our schools brings to Ottawa, as well as the dedication and enthusiasm of our students as they learn a new language. We were also delighted to share our love for music, through the Japanese rendition of "Since you have been gone" !!
